Beyond Lubrication, Unleashing Performance
JTP Synthetic Blend Motor Oil
The JTP Synthetic Blend Motor Oil is composed of top-tier, crystal-clear, Re-Refined Oils combined with cutting-edge additive technology, guaranteeing exceptional performance. This unique fusion of superior base oil and advanced technology delivers enhanced fuel efficiency, effective protection against deposits and corrosion, and shields engines from the rigorous wear imposed by modern engine demands. Recommended for application in all gasoline engines powering passenger cars, as well as other light-duty trucks and SUVs, this blend stands as an optimal choice in both performance and value.
What is Re-Refined Oil?
Re-refined oil is recycled motor oil that undergoes an extensive re-refining process to remove contaminants to produce a good-as-new base oil. JTP uses this base oil and blends it with high performance additive technology to produce lubricants such as JTP Synthetic Blend motor oil. The main difference between re-refined and virgin oil products is that re-refined represents the responsible choice for the environment.
Lubricating oil does not wear out, it simply becomes dirty as it does its job. Once water and other contaminants are removed from collected oils, it is returned to a full and useful life as a
re-refined base oil. There is no compromise in the quality of re-refined oil. Used oil can be re-refined over and over again…it never wears out; it just gets dirty!
Are Re-Refined Lubricants Safe to Use?
Lubricants made from re-refined base stocks must undergo the same testing and meet the same standards as virgin lubricants in order to receive the certification of the American Petroleum Institute (API). Vehicle and engine manufacturers such as Ford, General Motors, Chrysler, and Detroit Diesel have issued warranty statements that allow the use of re-refined oil as long as it meets API standards. Many government and private fleets have/currently used/utilize re-refined lubricants in their vehicles for years and report no difference in performance from virgin lubricants.
Why Use Re-Refined Oil?
JTP Re-refined oil is good for the environment and it’s priced competitively with other brand-named regular motor oil. Also, do-it-yourself oil changers “close the recycling loop” with re-refined oil by turning in their old/used oil and purchasing motor oil that has been used, re-refined, and put back on store shelves for reuse. Buying JTP re-refined oil reduces our dependence on imported oil, reduces the depletion of natural resources, eliminates waste material, and helps create jobs.
By using and promoting the use of re-refined lubricants, you accomplish the following:

-
Preserve a nonrenewable resource—oil.
-
Demonstrate your commitment to a cleaner environment through recycling and proper waste management.
-
Help protect the environment against pollution.
-
Quality and expected performance at a competitive price.
-
2.5 quarts of lube oil can be produced from one gallon of used oil.
-
Re-refining is energy efficient – it takes less energy to produce a gallon of re-refined base stock than to produce a base stock from crude oil.
-
JTP Re-refined oil prices are competitive with virgin oil products.
-
JTP Re-refined oils are API certified to meet OEM warranty requirements for new cars and trucks.

-
Test after test has shown that re-refined oil is just as good, if not better, than virgin oil. Virgin crude oil cost more to manufacture.
-
Re-refined lubricants that are American Petroleum Institute (API) certified comply fully with vehicle manufacturers’ warranty requirements.
-
You can feel confident with this product with the JTP Limited Product Warranty

JTP Motor Oil by the Numbers
When it’s time for an oil change, you will notice different options. This is because base oils have been enhanced with various additive with various capabilities. These are defined by a combination of numbers and letters.
Engine oil prevents friction and wear while carrying away heat and contaminants, keeping the engine healthy. These conditions can range from a frigid Colorado snow day on a mountain pass to navigating an Arizona interstate on a 110-degree day.
Oil Viscosity Makes the Difference
The primary reason why oil is used as a lubricant is its ability to flow through your engine and maintain a coating
on the engine’s moving parts. This prevents metal-to-metal contact, which would quickly destroy those parts.
Oil’s ability to flow at a given temperature is called viscosity.
Oils with higher viscosity (a larger number) take longer to flow through the opening, while oils with lower viscosity
(a smaller number) flow quicker. Based on this testing viscosity by timing how long it takes for a specific amount of oil
to flow through a specific-diameter opening at a set temperature, oils receive a viscosity number.
A higher number denotes a thicker oil.
Helping you determine which oil is right for your car:
The numbers and letters on a container of multi-grade motor oil will tell you at a glance what its operating range
is and how it compares to other oils. Here’s an example:
5W-30
5: This is the oil’s viscosity rating at low or winter temperatures
W: This stands for “winter,” and is part of the “5” rating
30: This is the oil’s viscosity rating at high temperatures
With the multi-grade oil, you will get easier cold starting, combined with excellent high-temperature protection.
Easily find what motor oil to use in your car or truck by looking in the owner’s manual.
Some manufacturers will provide a choice of oils, based on different climate conditions. Select the oil that matches the temperature range where you live and drive.
Using a JTP Re-Refined /Synthetic Blend Motor Oil offers a balance between the advantages of full synthetic oil and conventional oil.
1. Improved Cold-Start Performance: Like full synthetic oils, Re-Refined /Synthetic blends often have a lower viscosity at low temperatures, providing better cold-start lubrication compared to conventional oils.
2. Enhanced High-Temperature Stability:
Re-Refined / Synthetic blends offer better resistance to
thermal breakdown than conventional oils. This means
they can maintain their lubricating properties at higher temperatures, providing improved engine protection.
